Just making sure the street alignment is good is good. But to get the track alignment for doing a track event once or twice a month then not doing it again for another month? No thanks.

I don't know about the OEM pads only lasting a few days. But with a beginner (like myself) or even slightly experienced, you'll get more than a few days.

I would do an road course event and my pads looked barely used. Even after 4 events over a span of 3 months PLUS daily street driving and my pads were barely half way.

And yes, I was agressive on the brakes even if I had an instructor in the car with me. Now if you're a experienced driver then maybe they'll last in the timeframe like you said.

If mostly a street car with lots of drive time and a couple of track days a year, I'd get another set of Conti's or Michelin 4s.

If it's a weekend street toy with a couple or more track days, I'd get a set of more-track-focused tires.

If it's a street car or weekend toy but with heavy duty track time, I'd replace your Conti's and then get another set of wheels with track tires, too.

It’s a weekend car, but im only tracking once a year. I do wanna get some 19 wheels but i cant just yet. I was thinking about pilot sport cups 2 just dont know if I should get 305 or 315 on the rear.

You should take it slow if you haven't and go too deep into something that is beyond your skill.

Brake fluid? Motul 660 (get a pressure bleeder as well), use the OEM pads (but check yours to see if they're still servicable) and with tires....the OEM Goodyear SC3s are going to be what you should use (Yes the SC3r is better but the SC3 will do just as well and last a bit longer).

Using the SC3 you must understand that these tires MUST BE warmed up properly before they give you the grip they can deliver and their grip does not fall off. It will have cords showing and it'll still grip like glue. So don't go full out the first 2 laps, get them warm, especially since you're nearly ~90 more rwhp than stock.

I would try to do 285 or 295 front with 315 rear (because of that extra power).

Camber? Leave it as, especially if you're new or slightly experienced. You're out there to have fun, not try and set lap records at this point, right?
This is my first time on this car, im in between sc3s and cup 2s but the only thing is if i should keep 285/305 like manual of the car says or go a little bigger like you said.

I tracked with cup2 and nankang AR1 yet, and you will feel the AR1 has plenty more grip and cost less. (atleast in the dry, if you still wanna drive somehow when it starts raining then might get the cup2)

And imo. get the ZLE wheel sizes and you will have alot more fun.
Next year I will also go for ZLE size.

And increase camber up front, it makes a huge difference. 2°+ atleast.
With the facotry alignment I had to fight with understeer.

Either of those are good tires but I only have experience with the SC3.

You have to remember you are a bit above the stock power level too. So going up 1 size in the back is a must to help keep it under control.

Maybe so, didn't think about that in a ZL1 forum.
