Not if it's been used by a dude like you (based on your avatar), or me! The majority of ZLEs I see listed have very low miles and are advertised as having no track time.

If I can get what I'm looking for without a ginormous mark up, yes.

A month ago I was looking for a new ZL1, any ZL1, within a 1000 mile radius and there were only a couple available. 99% were already sold, and a couple that were not the dealers wanted $5K to $10K markup. I told them I would not pay over MSRP under any circumstances.
In the end I got my SS 1LE for $1200 under MSRP and I'm very happy to have found it. |

I might be the exception, I daily mine. I've put 34k miles on it over 1.5 years. Bought it brand new Feb '22 with 3 miles. Being a career Marine, I've been in vehicles with much, much harsher rides lol |

I feel the same, as I learned about the CT5-V BW, I really think that would have been the car for me but that price is almost $30k more than the ZL1 1LE. But at the same time, I'm very happy with my ZLE. |

I believe whatever you're looking at, the ZL1 with its brilliant powerful LT4 engine is absolutely deserving the attention of anyone considering "real" American muscle. IMHO with its powerful LT4 engine & RWD, the ZL1 may be the last of the true, real examples, of classic U.S. muscle.

For me it would be a perfect daily driver, except for one issue. I love the tire and wheel package but Chevrolet should have designed a proper lip and or rock guards to protect the body and paint. I hate all the aftermarket products available, nothing like OEM engineering, designed with the aid of a wind tunnel. |
