Actually I did watch your video. I didn’t see you comparing the ACS ones to the ones Boss2k was talking about. I like the molded style not the plastic sheet variant. Honestly I could easily replicate the flat plastic pieces, I just don’t like them. I wish there was and even larger molded piece that would follow the body lines all the around tastefully. I love the 1le wheels, I just don’t like the fact that they extend out past the entire fender.
Something more along the lines of the factory pieces, but much larger

I put the front Rokblokz on my ZLE, because the installation is completely reversible. I wanted no additional holes in the liner or fender. They leave a fairly good amount of tire showing. I wish they were about 3/4” wider. The good part is that they are hardly noticeable. I have not installed the rears, because I don’t see that area being as big a problem as the fronts. I asked Rokblokz about a ZLE specific set that would be slightly wider, but that probably won’t happen.

Thanks Boss, those are the flat sheet type, which I’m sure do a great job. I’m looking for a molded design that more or less attempts to follow the factory design.

My pictures are too big(yes, I've tried resizing them) but you'd want the ACS's then. They literally look like they came on the car and have a nice gloss black finish that works well with any color of Camaro.

Camfab...sorry for the sideways pictures but here's an idea of how they look...have many more pics but didn't want to bore you with too many pics.
1st one is rear
2nd one is fronts
3rd, if you zoom in you can see how they blend in with the car

I got the OEM front #84289522, in Shadow Gray, I haven't installed yet , I think OP mentioned on the ZL1 won't fit ?
I just tried and I don't think they will fit with the stock ZL1 rocker side skirt . I purchased them a few months ago mail order , It would cost shipping and restock fee, most likely half the price of the parts
Am I correct in won't fit or has someone installed these on there car

I just called Scoggin Dickey and he verified they won't fit , and said I can return them .
I will Tuesday.

Ahhh.. the American Muscle ones? From looking at them and looking at the photos and description the American Muscle rock guards ARE the zl1addons rock guards. Same ones.

Thank you guys! Nytmare23, I do prefer those over the rest. I feel like there is an opportunity to make something next level here.

I found that the paint on the underside of the diffuser is completely destroyed without rear rock guards, and since the Rokblokz are wide enough (well at least for 305 wide tires they are, I know the ZLE rears are probably too wide even for them), they now protect my nice aftermarket diffuser.

Replacing the diffuser is a very pesky job that I'd like to avoid doing again, if possible. Of course one might say who cares about the bottom of the car you can't see anyway, but I do... to an extent

I hate waxing the exterior of my car, but I’ve been known to take a toothbrush and wax to my chassis.

How are the ones from American Muscle fitted on the car? Using screws and spacers like the Rokblokz guards, or using sticking tape like the ZL1 Addons?

That's what I plan as well.

In the past, I've masked of the outside edges, and then sprayed a quick one-coat of black truck bed liner on the inside (facing the tires) before I mounted them. It kept the painted or carbon fiber guards from getting chipped up. (But leave the tape kind of open, and spray on an angle, so you don't get a hard 'line.')
