Don't want the OP to get an unrealistic expectation here.
One final thought and response to wnta1ss irreverent posts, as these back and forth posts have derailed from OP's original question. So I pose this question (no need to answer)
1. Have YOU ever installed headers, x-pipe, and a tune on YOUR car? (not this "we have seen tests on the SS" crap ) Well I have and have documented dyno sheets to prove all my numbers and posts, ENOUGH SAID.
I am sorry you have seen some poor performance numbers and you have a poor Tuner and that your problem not the forums.

Now back to OP's original question, 'do I need a tune' if you install headers, x-pipe, and/or aftermarket exhaust. YES you will and it is also recommended if you want see the performance gains and not to possibly throw a CEL code. Recommend you reach out to your local reputable speed shop and discuss this with a Tuner (as you can see above, not all Tuners are the same.) If you elect to do the work yourself, you could possible get a remote tune as well (Ted at Jannetty Racing is a good choice or GPI come to mind, but there are several vendors out there that offer this service) May save you some $$ if you go this route. Be comfortable with the Tuner you decide on.

Bottom line... either bone stock or heavily modded, it's your car so enjoy it and make it your own. Congrats on the new ride and enjoy it! Welcome to the Camaro legacy as GM sunsets this in 2024 (so they say) Be safe and drive carefully!

Most cars with catless headers gain 25-30whp with correct tuning. I have seen several dynos before and after over the years from Pray Performance and GPI. I suppose there could always be an anomaly where a car gains more but it's not the norm. Could of been a cat converter was starting to fail.

Back in the day Brandon Hill was repping GPI's Track attack heads/cam combo running 10.30's NA on stock headers with cat delete pipes. He switched to 2" LT's and went 10.20's.

I have even seen 700whp supercharged setups go from cat delete pipes to LT's and only pickup 20whp.

Most of the restriction on the 6th gens factory exhaust is the cat pipes.

Now to answer the question from the OP. Yes you need to tune to optimize the gains from the headers. The car will be slower otherwise.

Wait, you just said Gen5 SS for the baseline in your last reply. Your sig said 2022 SS, which was why I questioned the optimistic claim that you made of +65rwhp from just long tubes/midpipe/tune on one. So when you just said Gen5 SS, it looked like an apples vs oranges thing was going on.

Clear this up, are you indeed claiming that a 6th gen SS gains 60~65 rwhp from just long tubes, mid pipe, and the corresponding tune on a stock motor like the OP has? Do you have dyno sheets of 6g SS stock baseline first then ONLY these mods added, on the same dyno? Because the figures that I had mentioned for 6g SS long tubes were posted by some respected tuners like Ted Jannetty and PRAY on this forum, on stock motors with no supercharger added, just like the OP is thinking of doing.

Have you checked with Brett and Ted lately? They are posting bigger gains on Facebook of late with just those mods. Brett (Pray) hasn't posted here in some time.
I have all the dyno sheets as well like I stated earlier on this mod alone. My set up is well past those #'s now.

"Because the figures that I had mentioned for 6g SS long tubes were posted by some respected tuners like Ted Jannetty and PRAY on this forum"- so YOU indeed did not do this to YOUR car personally, and are relying on other people's old posts? speechless....

And to be exact here as I stated on my first post "~450rwhp"- I pulled the old dyno sheets and went from 385 to 442.54rwhp to be exact on those mods with my '22 2SS A10.

Now back to OP's original question....
