This was going to be my set up. G2s in front, RIIs in back. RII drag radials are on a no ETA backorder.

I doubt the harness has been relocated- I bought the car from a dealer used lot and it had these tires on it (tires were quite new at the time). I haven't looked to see if the harness has been relo'd or not. I should probably pull the wheel off this weekend and see if there's any rubbing for peace of mind (and relocate the harness while I'm at it if it hasn't been done already).

There has been no rubbing that I've noticed, from digs up through the top of 3rd.

At stock power levels with the stock alignment, I think this tire would be fine for most people's use. Any of the other tires would hook better, of course. Again (my experience only) it is fine for anything after 1st gear. Absolutely useless in first gear, though.

To close the loop on the rubbing and the harness relocation:

I looked in the wheel well today with a flashlight, and there is a faint witness mark right where you'd expect it on the wheelwell liner. It is just a witness mark, nothing major (yet), and I can definitely still feel the harness right behind it. Looks like I'll be moving that harness and reshaping the liner this weekend!

So, yes. It would appear prudent to relocate the harness for the G2 315/30's!
