![]() My 95 Impala SS weighs in at 4400.... That's with an extra set of doors, and a trunk you could live in.

The ZL1 Vert will weigh more than the ZL1 coupe because of the extra bracing and what does it matter anyway since you have 650 hp!

The 2011 zl1 automatic convertible was around 4400…while an SS M6 was 3850.

And I agree, it doesn't matter because it's not just 650 hp.... it's a SIX-HUNDRED FIFTY HORSEPOWER CONVERTIBLE!!!![]() The weight by trim chart can be found here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...26&postcount=2 |

A fifth gen zl1 coupe was around 4100 lbs if i remember right. I m not surprised with the ZL1 Vert weight. Automatic 10 speed adds another 70 lbs on top of manual. My 2022 2ss 1le manual is around 3730lbs almost full tank of gas, previous 15 gtpp mustang manual was around 3820 lbs and 12 camaro 2ss/rs ls3 manual with sunroof was around 3900 lbs range. I can’t imagine the feel of a base model lt1 camaro. It suppose to be around mid 3600 lbs with full tank of gas and upper 3500 lbs with a quarter tank. That would be one nimble car.

They would probably do better than a Camaro w/ the same hp because of all that extra weight over the rear end.

My Gen 6 Camaro's keep gaining weight...
'21 LT1 Coupe...3546 '21 1SS Coupe..3602 +56 '22 1SS Conv....3831 +229 '23 ZL1 Conv...4030+ 199 All 6 speed manuals. These weights were all on my NYS Registrations. I think NYS does Shipping weight vs. Curb weight so all these numbers would actually be higher.

According to google a gallon of premium fuel weighs 6.3 lbs. So 19 gallons would equal 119.7 lbs. 4030# car+120# gas =4150# with a full tank.

So if you look at your door jamb - the GVWR minus the Payload = pretty damn close to actual vehicle weight
