P1x with 3.9” upper and stock lower will get you around 600-615 whp on 93. It’s a whole new car. That’s what I started out with. I went down the rabbit hole wanting more power, know it’s got way too much for the street. Honestly 600 ish is a great street car IMO. You start getting more then you have to deal with traction issues etc. I’m just under 900 whp now and car will go blow tires (drag radials) off at 70 roll.

I think it's fine on certain applications. LT4's or forged piston LT1's yep, no problem. A SBE LT1, nope I wouldn't... but that is jmo. Just the slightest distribution issue and the piston is broke.

You can certainly make 700RWHP on 93 octane. It will NOT be reliable at that level. The pistons will be in the oil pan sooner or later.
600-650RWHP would be the max I would run on a stock bottom end LT1 and pump gas. LT4 pump and injectors. D1X head unit. |

D1X over the P1X? I was under the impression the D1X wouldn't build boost until 5k or so I really appreciate all the input! going to order the procharger next week |

Not true at all!!! I made 750 tq at 5200 and 850 hp so its making some boost at 5k lol It starts making boost even slightly before the bypass valve closes down at 3 k. Look at my for sale thread I have it layed out pretty good their. My d1x is sold though.

This will depend on how far you are wanting to go. If you are ultimately wanting to be over 750whp and are going to spend the $$ for fueling then the D1x would be best. Anything less then I would say the P1x would be the best one to go with.
