I'll watch LeMans, just for that Camaro. No reason it can't show well. I'd expect similar to a TA1 Trans Am that is fast, with uncorked motors.

I much prefer Trans Am. It's great seeing axle suspensions and meaty tires on a road course. TA2 had 30-50 cars last year, and some really, really talented kids.

The only thing NASCAR uses that is a Camaro is the painted on Camaro nameplate. Not one bolt on those NASCARS is a Camaro. Its fake now.

Yes I know it is fake, I am just wondering which other name plate Chevy will use from 2025 onwards.

The latest gen car does look a little closer to production spec than many of the previous gens however.

The garage 56 entry at Le Mans looks cool:

Blazer? Makes as much sense as anything else. They could use Malibu, obviously, but that only kicks the can down the road another few feet as it may not be around a whole lot longer than Camaro. Corvette is technically an option but, stretching Corvette's look to fit the likes of NASCAR would look off.

As mentioned above, the manufacturers only really apply a "likeness" of the vehicle in question to the motorsport versions, changing things like proportions and layouts to fit the body shell that's approved for the specific sport's regulations.

Looks like an EV performance sedan will be replacing the Camaro in 2025, likely under the new Camaro sub-brand. I am reading that will replace the NASCAR version. That will be hilarious to see what is supposed to be an EV sedan being powered by a small block V8.

I'm just sick of fake stuff. I hope they abolish NASCAR just as well when the Camaro is gone. I stopped watching NASCAR years ago.
