I’m guessing we’re a similar age? My first new car I ordered was in 1979. I was still in college, so I couldn’t afford a Camaro. I ordered a 79 Nova Custom, 305, 4 speed manual, console, posi, tilt wheel, A/C, bucket seats, rally wheels, white letter radials. In 1981, I traded it for a Z28.

That’s a pretty rare setup on a 79 nova. Probably very desirable today.

Just curious if anyone has actually paid for and received that.
The window sticker has all that info, so the monroney report should as well. It’s been awhile since I got a monroney report, but IIRC it was basically the window sticker in a slightly different format. I have the window sticker and build sheet for my car. The build sheet is way more detailed but does not include option pricing or msrp.

You guys sure like gloating and flexing your acquaintances with the GM design/build team, but that's not what OP was after...

Leonard, you aren't here to satisfy me I just made an observation, and hand on your heart, you know it's true. All good though, it was just meant as a friendly jab.

I was able to get a generic build sheet/RPO list from the salesman, but my point kinda still stands. What are you getting for $50? We went from an email from GM with the details to now having to plunk down $50.

Wish I could help you with a definitive answer... I think it's the full RPO build sheet that I could still request for free back in 2018 (see attached). There was another thread here where it was mentioned that going forward gm would charge money for these sheets.

Guessing that shot is aimed at me. There are other people in the thread too explaining differences between build sheets and window sticker. Quite sure the OP is getting good information and the thread titled Build Sheet from GM will live on and take a life of it's own with associated conversations like many do.

Here's another thread on the same topic
