I personally would go with the 305s in the rear and yes you might see a difference with 285s in the front.

In your Kia? Not sure it’s necessary. But on a Camaro 3inches+ of more contact patch up front certainly shouldn’t hurt if you can fit it

I'm not sure if It would bother me having slightly different wheels on the back, but I'd imagine it could be problematic having two different sets of rubber on. Car will arrive in a month or two so I'll hold out for a deal on a set of 1le replicas or take offs from someone selling over the winter.
