Should be a nice upgrade and basically everything from this will just support more HP with a simple pulley swap. These blowers are capable of 1200hp from what I hear, so skys the limit.
I made 670 with the 2650, headers, intake, 103tb on 93. 15+ psi

Great purchase ! Stay with the canned tune, I have been really researching these 2650 12 psi or so is billet proof for even road racing, anything over that, meth or some other way to keep it cool.

I would do the Magnuson but I really want to keep my strut tower brace. So I’ll likely just port the stock unit over the winter.

Anyone know how the maggie canned tune is? Is it good? Setup for 91/93? I wont have a wideband at first so should I get that installed first so I can really look at this tune? Or should I just take it to a shop to have the car ran on the dyno to make sure its safe?

Canned tunes are generally far from optimum and leave a bunch on the table. If you’re going to have a remote tune done, then adding a wideband is necessary.

Figured as much. I was really not looking forward to doing a WB install. Really pisses me off both Ford and Dodge have factory WBs and the camaros dont. What a pain in the ass.

A good dyno facility will have one. But if you’re going to be making changes as time goes on, it really does help to have a wideband installed. The AEM one (30-0334) is the one you want as it communicates over the canbus network, so you’ll be able to datalog your AFR along with the rest of your ECM data over HP Tuners.

Not this year. Maybe next year. I'd like to do the headers and cam next year to get ahead of the fuel limitations so I can turn it up.

But man Im so excited to get this blower. I was going to do all the normal boltons at first but I was up to like $10k in mods and installation/tuning and I was still not getting any fuel system headroom or big power. Seemed like a waste when this was the end goal.

I'd like to hit 800 to the tire and be done. And I think this blower and a few mods should do it no problem. I plan to install it myself in the garage if I can. Looks not too bad. I have all the tools and a nice place to do the install. Plus it comes with the tune. So should be a complete bolton 100rwhp easy. And the cooling that comes with the blower is immense. Manifold temps are going to be awesome.

Be careful what you wish for, beyond the limits of the stock fuel system is a slippery slope in terms of money, complexity and being traction limited. I'm not saying don't do it, your car and you should enjoy it. I thought that's what I wanted and 690 RWHP is where I'm at on mine and it's definitely an animal and needs more tire.
