It’s not your pockets brother, my budget could be well over 250k but thanks for the feedback, good day.

Well, I did trade my V6 for a V8 and never looked back, but I hear you don't want to do that. The approach I've seen others take with the LGX for any significant power bump is a Procharger or an Edelbrock kit.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but if your pockets are deep enough there are a number of 400+ hp twin turbo Cadillac versions of that engine. Find a used one, take what you need and sell what's left for parts. An ATS-V has 462 hp and plugs into the same engine compartment as your car.

I would not bother with any further suggestions, OP clearly has selective listening and selective reading retention. My way or the highway mentality and nothing more reasonable or logical will get through. You can lead a horse to water but you can not make it drink is a perfect idiom to describe the OP.

....Why are you driving a V6 Camaro with a budget of $250k? No offense but.. ..you could literally buy 2 or 3 C8's for that.

Look I've been there where I've been dead set on one plan and one car, but dreams don't always turn out well in reality. There's a reason things work the way they do and aftermarket support for the LGX just isn't strong. Not only that but there are also alot of tuning limitations you'll need to overcome as well. You can't just drop in a different motor into a 6th Gen in the current world of technology as the ECM is designed to work specifically with that platform and vehicle, another ECM for the V8 will not work without alot of hassling with other electronics. Unless you can do the work yourself you'll also be heavily dependent on shops and mechanics who are willing to touch the platform and at the end of the day will have invested gobs of money into something you can have much easier. I get the idea of investing solely into one car, making it that 'special - valueless' car and dreaming of that while you're cruising down the road, but when you put it into practice and realize the true limitations you're going to realize you're biting way more than you're ready to chew.

ALOT more research in terms of modability, tuning, parts, limitations, ect have been done on the LT1 than the LGX.. ..that's very important.. You do not want to be the Guinea pig with infinite cash out there just trying to prove a point.

Sorry if I caused confusion earlier but yes y’all did recommend things to me, my only thing was that is it gone reach the threshold I like and I don’t want to purchase a v8. But thanks for the advice and once again my apologies sir.

The V8 swap has been tried by folks on here before and they just finally give up because of all the parts that have to be swapped out to make it work. Now if you want to rip everything out like the computers, wiring and all the other parts to just put a V8 in your car then I say go for it. Don’t take it wrong but the people on this forum are trying to give you good advice about your car and you don’t seem to be listening so you do what you think is best for your situation and I would trade my Camaro in and get a 1SS or 2SS and have fun with it.

Tracy Lewis Performance can hook you up with a supercharger or LT1 engine swap. Or just keep it stock of course up to you. I’m in the park of wanting to upgrade since I drive my car once a week but I can wait.

I started out with a beautiful NGM RS. On the V6 subforum, we discussed this a lot back in 2016. A couple of guys did the Overkill Garage blower. I eventually traded the RS for a SS. It was just easier and more logical.

If I had to do it over, I would have kept the RS as a daily driver, and bought the SS to build up.

Edelbrock makes a supercharger for the 6th generation camaro V6 at a cost of almost $5,000.Edelbrock claims that this supercharger will add 100 horsepower and 86 pound feet of torque and with the V6 camaro weighting nearly 300 pounds lighter expect your 0 to 60 times to be in the mid 4 second range.

Remember that the internals of your V6 are not built to handle, reliably, the kind of HP you are referencing. Plus, you will want to change the gearing in your diff and prolly the rear end itself. Adding a CAI, cat back, etc, will make your engine sound more responsive and fun to drive. But modding beyond that, under the best of conditions, increases the likelihood that stuff is gonna break. Also, a V8 with the same mods you are contemplating with a V6 (even if doable and done correctly) will smoke you like a cheap cigar. The V6 is a great street cruiser. For serious HP, you need a V8.

I got an idea that allows you to keep 6 cylinders with this budget! Go buy a 991.2 GT3RS and ride off into the sunset.
