I thought I had read that the 1le has vented pistons. One member wrote a thread of exactly what he ordered to do the swap. I will try to look it up as I was going to do the conversion also.

No difference other than the 1LE calipers being red and saying 1LE. The ZL1 and 1LE option share the same brake system.

So what about Chevy dealers can’t sell a 1LE off their floor because of the brake pads? There’s an option for compliant brake pads.

Unrelated to title but in the thread lol... Does anyone have the part number for the strap to add to the 1LE so you can more easily fold down the rear like the regular ZL1?

That's not only for the 1LE option, that's for non 1LE ZL1s and Camaro SS with the 1LE option and maybe the non 1LE Camaro SS.

GM should have started making those "complaint" brake pads at least a year ago. Thanks California......
