Adding power is one thing but cut some weight out the car to make better use of it. I was able to cut out quite a bit. When the roll cage and passenger seats were out car was 3,230 pounds with a 1/4 tank of gas.

Haven’t been able to take it to a strip but onboard computer put me at a 4.6 0-60. I think with the RPMs closer to 3k it would be closer to 4.4 with close to 160,000 miles.

I’ve been running 91 for years. Better timing, better spark, smoother overall performance. And top tier gas only. Hit 160,500 miles the other day and the car performs better than when I first bought it. Just keep up on maintenance

so i ended up adding the cold air inductions cai and a mbrp axle back.

after the cai install i felt a tad bit of power/pull which i was pleasantly surprised by, However, i am not liking this exhaust and i really dont want to take it off and pay for another one. Do you think maybe adding a magnaflow resonated x pipe or something of the like remedy the 4 banger drone i am hearing? i originally wanted to go with the flowmaster american thunder like you have but i ended cheaping out instead

Get a range device if you don’t already have one. It’ll keep it from going into the V4 mode. I’ve heard the mbrp in person and it didn’t sound bad.

This company does sound clips with their installs. May be able to find your combination searching through videos

Since you have a CAI, you could install a larger throttle body to make a noticeable difference. But you would then need a tune. If you want to stay with an 87 octane tune, that is available. But you need to specify/mention your tb & any other upgrade.

hey thanks for your feedback on this. I actually am wanting a ported tb and looking at soler. I see this on their site though that it does not need a tune. I suppose a tune would help though

BENEFITS:
• Lower weight to power ratio at part throttle, for a more nimble/spirited driving experience
• Linearization and smoothing of the curve for a more predictable response and crisper shifts
• Immediate response right off idling while keeping idling function undisturbed (No Hesitation/Stumble)
• Does not require tuning. Warranty safe.
• More air/power at every single throttle position after idle. Crucial for starting or expanding power gain modifications
• Easy Installation (15 Minutes or Less)

A trifecta type tune will be more effective than a cai, throttle body changes, exhaust, etc that dont involve retuning. But it's less about adding power than changing how the car responds as it shifts...but it may only be super effective for <2017, so it includes the tcm tune too. Not sure if they ever broke the protection on newer tcm's.

The lgx in the camaro is operating at basically peak NA performance. You need forced induction or different fuel (E85/nos) to improve performance ....or weight reduction or better tires. I dont recommend spending money on anything else if power is your goal. You'll be chasing fairies.

I would not get a tune but I have a manual transmision. Run premium fuel , it will run better and be healthier. I replaced the factory 20-8.5 wheels,30 lbs, with tsw 18-9 , 19.25 lb wheels and 255-45-18 Bridgestone potenza tires. It drives and handles much better. Keep the MAF sensor clean.

Yes, I also have a manual with lighter 20 lb wheels.

The 245-40-20 and 255-45-18 tires were Bridgestone potenza, both weigh 26lbs. The 18 has 250lb more weight capacity, drives much better and costs less. The weight savings comes from the wheel and the tire size performs much better. I put over 20k miles on the 20" Bridgestones a now have 5k miles on the 18" Bridgestones
