my work mate is an audi fanboy..keeps telling me how fast his audi is lol..i sent him that link and said amazing i cant see one audi in that list but 5 chevys. said to him a zl1 will beat any audi made..he's gone very quiet.

In reality, it should be much higher up on the list; a lot of those cars on top aren't really what you would consider traditional mass produced "production" cars. Additionally, the same cars are repeated multiple times on that list just in different "specs," lowering zl1's place on the list. Like others have said, purpose built racecars. This car really is a masterpiece of engineering. I would love to see an all-out track focused ZL1LE built to the level that some of those "spec" cars ahead of it are. Would shock a lot of people.

The only real repeats are the 3 GT2 RS, but those packages are no different than the 1LE package on top of the ZL1 (except I think the Weissach package costs as much as an entire ZL1). And you can register both the Radical and the Gumpert in CA so they are still technically street legal, production cars.

my friend is an audi fanboy..he still hasn't answered back why no audi makes that list?

I think the topspeed hurt most of the zl1s time and wasn't there a better driver available? The porche got to 192 mph on the long stretch that when watching the video seemed like it took forever for the zl1 to get to the finishing turns just before the finish line.

did they ever get the a10 back on a non rainy day?

They actually got a better time during that event but couldn’t use it officially for what ever reason. They have it recorded, I believe it was 2 or 3 seconds faster. I don’t really know the details but remember reading about it.
