I suppose it depends on what you order and what constraints are like on that. For me, my order (22 ZL1 1LE with the fabled PDR haha) got accepted by GM on October 28, but it's just now on its way to the dealership in Greenville, TX (thanks GearheadSS!).

It's still faster than the 4-5 months you were thinking it might take, but it's not always 2 months or so... I think DangerZL1 just got lucky

I bought my car from the fleet manager who knows the Camaro ordering rep. They tried to get me to order a ZLE and it would have been built in December. Apparently a build slot was open. I didn’t want the package so I was willing to wait. He contacted me a few days later and said he could still get me my order in if i ordered that day. We out my order in and it was picked up immediately and I had an order number that evening. This was the week before the plant shutdown for Christmas.

Neither of expected the order to get move this fast, but it was built on the 12th of Jan. Really didn’t expect the car until March.

10k under haha funny guy. I'll be near to MSRP, perhaps a tad less all in. The zingers is I have to ship it here but they are working with me on that and likely eat some cost for an enclosed trailer.
They've sat on the car for over 2 months nearing 3. Not the color I spec for myself but everything else is pretty close and I can add the missing items I wanted later such as the ZL1 mats, premium cover and fuel door.

I just purchased from a fairly local dealer. I traded in my 2020 LT1 with 25k miles and a few GM performance goodies on aftermarket wheels. They offered me 7k under what it’s listed for right now. I took it like a champ to get a 2018 ZL1 1-owner with 12k miles. At a price just under what it listed for new. The dealer basically told me they knew they could do what they want and my response was, Yep, and I want the car. That was that. If I would of played the slow game and been patient I probably could of saved a few thousand. But it was very hard to find what I wanted within a few hours drive. So here we are. Happy ZL1 shopping

Plenty of dealers selling at MSRP and maybe a little off. Don't bother with the dealer who is taking advantage of the environment and marking them up!
