Went and measured.... would it be as simple as ordering a pair of these with clamps, sawzall the cat out and replace with these?

Well, I guess I’ll have to see how it all plays out. I have a car on order. With how everything’s going now days I won’t believe I’ve actually bought one until it’s sitting in my garage. LOL (anything can happen it seems )

I was thinking of just buying the corsa and if for some reason didn’t want it in theory I should be able to sell it for what I paid for it NIB considering the rarity and the problem it avoids if you really don’t want to cut your pipes.

Only thing now is after listening to a million vids online I think I convinced myself I want the npp valves still. So it seems like the borla S might be more my style.
I’m assuming the Atak version is really loud? Which leads me to, I really need to drive it a while and see what I want. I’ve seen some posts on here about guys wanting to switch to s type mufflers and selling atak systems etc.
It would be nice to be able to buy turn key to remove secondary cats BUT I’ll figure it out one way or another. Might be members selling old link pipes idk.

Finally, I’m gonna say it. It’s all the diesel brothers fault for the crack down on all emissions. *♂️LoL

Borla discontinued the sales of their system that allowed removal of the secondaries 60606 I believe was the part number...... I was fortunate to score a set of AWE's that I will use with Borla 60607 and the stock suitcase muffler.....

would this work, it says no cutting of the factory exhaust:

https://gthaus.com/product/lsr-mid-r...elete-pipes-3/

then just buy whatever axle back you wanted.

Im curious if this would work as i would not want to cut up the factory exhaust, but wont be buying any exhaust till after i actually get the car.

I was just doing a lot of research on the full Corsa system because I know that's the system I want to go with once I get the car. Would I be crazy to buy the exhaust and hold onto it until I purchase the car? Lol

The AWE link pipes slip fit OEM pipe. You can see it in the pic above. I have a set that’s barely used but I'm holding in case I ever have to remove my headers.

The AWE link pipes do not require cutting. Driver side is slip fit from the factory...

Yep. You only have to cut the factory exhaust if you just install the AWE cat-back system (like I did).

I stand corrected. I thought I remembered cutting that joint. Editing previous post.
