I'm pretty positive none of the Hendrick Motorsports for Hertz cars did. I think I did see a custom Hertz one on YouTube done that way.

This guy bought one and did a lot of custom work, including exposing the blower.

Yes, the Callaway modified SC750 cars, have the blower raised up through center of hood. The Hertz/Hendricks motorsports SC750 cars did not. Hertz requested Hendricks to make a raised carbon fiber center section for hood so that no “hot engine” parts could be exposed.

It is a straight swap, if you could find one… I removed mine and put with the rest of the original equipment, when I sent my car back to Callaway for the “rest of the SC750 package” before converting into a factory ZL1 1LE.

I saw the SS version of Hertz totaled into a tree a few years back. The guy rented it and destroyed it.
