If I were the OP, I’d consider finding the OEM intake parts that are missing and either reinstall them until the warranty is up, or keep them handy to install if the car needs to go in for something, then throw them on before turning it over to a dealer. Of course it doesn’t matter if it’s been tuned for that CAI. Game over. Ember posted in another thread about arguing with a dealer over a trans issue on a Tahoe (or similar SUV, I can’t recall which model) he had, where the dealer wouldn’t even cover it under the powertrain warranty! Dealers and GM will no doubt try any reason to deny warranty claims.

Wow! Thanks for all the feedback so far...
First the calipers are just red covers that say camaro and as far as the cai voiding my warranty, i bought the car like this from a GM dealer and they gave me a 3yr/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty w the purchase so I made out there i guess. I'm also a GM employee (autoworker) so I'll make sure they stick to it...if not i know who to contact. I added a pic of the cai just because it was such a hot topic. |

Well that’s great news! You might have an issue with any other dealer but sounds like as long as you use the selling dealer for any warranty work you’ll be okay!
Enjoy the car, they’re a lot of fun!

to the forums and congratulations, very sleek car, and you scored big on having all the mods still covered I think the rear and the sides are perfect, I'd personally ditch that giant windshield decal, one needs every half inch of visibility up there. Oh, and one more thing, if you upgrade the halogen headlights to something more advanced, although it won't be cheap, the difference will be absolutely huge. The OEM HID are very good, and there are a few aftermarket LED options as well, see this one, for example: https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto...led-headlights
