Don't do it!

Please give me an update in 1 more month. These POS that I have on my car can't be the same version as yours. These are overpowered at 1/4 - 1/2 throttle in many instances. Unless I'm on cement I wont even consider WOT.

Hoping this isn't the case, I bought these for my Z because of the PS4S being on back order until the end of April.

I just put on a set of Continental's. Won't have any honest feedback until it gets a bit warmer but nothing could be worse than the factory GoodYear. I hated those tires with a passion.

I think people tend to forget that the stock tire isn't really made for the street and once the tires stre warm, they do very well. They are made for the track and to carve curves like butter.

They are NOT made for the rain or temps under 60 or 65.

Update

I got the tire exchanged. They match up with the other one now. Still hating them though haha. Wont grip worth anything. Smooth ride though.

Might get them off way before needed. Was looking at the Nitto NT555RII 305/30/20 and NT555 G2 for fronts.

If it's still cool outside then don't expect them to grip that well. Give it a few more weeks...

Guy lives in Tampa, it's like 75F right now.

New tires have a mold release on them, so they come out of the tire mold easier. How many miles did you have on the old tires? Most say 500 miles to wear off that mold release.

I thought we already established in another thread that your Continental's are not the same as the ExtremeContact Sport. In fact, I'm certain they aren't because the ExtremeContact Sport's are amazing tires.

Its a VERY good tire and you will be very happy. Its my second choice behind the Michelin PS4S.

Just saying that the PS4S isn't some miracle do-it-all-perfectly dry+wet+drag+road course tire either, I've been using them in different sizes for two years, but I can't mash the throttle from a dig with those either, temperatures notwithstanding, in case someone thinks that would be possible (I have ~560 rwhp that is roughly stock ZL1 power, give or take 10-20 horses).

IMO it is the very best tradeoff considering everything, but definitely not the best or grippiest dry tire.
