That is what I had thought. I actually checked a lot of that back before purchasing..I haven’t come across anything yet. I’ll have to dig some more.

Kidding aside, I would consider this normal. If it still bothers you, adjust it after loosening the fascia bolts on that side, perhaps the black plastic bracket between the bumper and the fender (part #7 on the pic) is misaligned or needs a little nudge. That said, your bumper to fender gap looks within tolerance, I've seen many.
I think the gap is acceptable (most look pretty good on the car). It is more of the fender round (?) does not sit flush with the bumper, it it raised. So when you run your hand across, there is a lip there.

Off topic, but I love (and miss), the bright yellow 6th Gen Camaro. Was a great classic colour. I should never have traded in my yellow SS, but two Camaro’s in the garage is an argument I couldn’t win with my wife.

First world problems I suppose. Lol

I really like yellow. I think it looks great, it’s a flashy fit for a sports car and it makes the car that much more unique. You almost never see yellow on the road, and when you do it is the nasty pale yellow on a ****box like a rusted out Aveo.

Your car appears to be no different than mine in terms of fit and finish. I have extremely close-up pics of seams between panels on my car that show how the plastic is not trimmed straight, the panels don't fit tight, AND there's debris in the paint/clear coat along those seams where it almost looks like my car was re-sprayed (it wasn't). I've had multiple dealerships and body shops look very closely at my car and have gotten the same feedback each time - "As mediocre as it may seem up so close, that is within GM's specifications." In other words, their QA motto is one of:

- "Sometimes, good enough is good enough."

- "Close enough for government [motors] work."

- "Won't see it from my house."

- "Follows the ten foot rule." (as in, can't see it at ten feet away)

Here are a couple of examples of what I'm describing: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JF8o14ryNxJoePdn6

Back in 2017, I approached the salesperson at my Chevy dealership about having him help me locate a used SS the following spring and the plan was to get one in yellow (has long been a preferred color on sports cars for me, too). He flaked (didn't bother to follow up), I got busy with other things, and it slid.

Spring of 2020 marked another uptick in my interest. I realized that buying used (at the time) made zero sense from a cost perspective, and I would be inheriting whatever problems that PO may have created with the transmission or the clutch (only looking for M6). Buying new meant no shot at yellow as it was already long gone by then and the replacement Shock color wasn't what I was after. Ended up with Summit White and couldn't be happier.

Looks normal to me as the front bumper and rear bumper have slight gaps on my ZL1. After all folks, our cars have composite and aluminum panels/fenders and the weather affects them too.

Haha! I have a few of those spots too, but we won't get into that. I did notice that the bottom of the front bumper wasn't 100% sprayed either (you can see black specs in areas where the plastic isn't covered). That seems to be hit or miss as well, from what I have seen. Some cars are 100% covered in paint, and other are not.

I had intentions of getting new, but the wife hates Shock and yellow was my #1 choice...so used it was. I do love white though, that would be the next choice! I've had white pearl in the past - gorgeous color. Though I believe the Camaro white is not a pearl. For the condition (without factoring in GM's level of tolerance), crazy low mileage, options, 6 speed & color... it was a no-brainer to purchase. I feel my car was a one-off purchase that will not come around again, unless Chevy brings back the yellow, of course.

Right, but mine seems to stay the same...

Hmm. Might be the same on my car. I put the splitter on right away, though, so you can't see it even if that's the case.

The QA on these cars, combined with the "bare minimum" standards of paint, leaves a lot to be desired. My 2015 Sliverado had some minor paint 'quirks' at delivery, my 2016 Traverse had defects in the paint that looked like thumb prints under the clear coat (amont a ton of other issues that GM finally acknowledged and ended up extending the B2B warranty significantly, and good thing too because the transmission crapped out at 55k after having issues from day 1 that the dealer claimed they couldn't reproduce).

Correct - Summit White is not a pearl color. Love the pearl white for trucks, but the non-pearl on the car looks extremely clean. If GM announced that they were bringing back the yellow for 2022, it would be very tempting...

I hear ya! The owner of my company had ordered a new 2500 Denali that came in a few months back. There is one very noticeable paint defect in the rear quarter panel, about the size of a finger print. I told him as much as it hurts to have that on a new truck, I think I would leave it be. You typically don't want to break into factory paint (even if it is mediocre) then throw in the risk of having poor work done. It is still hard to swallow considering you just spent ~$73K!
