The HERO Side markers have more LEDs in them so they almost go edge to edge on the marker it's self and have a slightly darker tint to them as well compared to the Diode Dynamics but both really change the style of the car during day and night once installed.

Keep in mind the Diode Dynamics are more expensive but they have a 3 year warranty, the Hero only have a 1 year warranty.

Right, so you're paying for 3-4 sets up front (with the Diode Dynamics), while receiving one, vs buying one (i.e. eBay) set and taking a chance of not having to buy the remaining 2-3 sets. The DD's do look nice, but at literally 4-5x the price I would expect a perfect product. Another guy in this thread said he is on his third set.
