They have it listed for $110,513 (CAD). Again, hard pass..not much value there IMO.

Depending on options, & if it’s new, that’s ~$20k over what I see moderately equipped ZL1’s in my area going for.

The cut in the hood and lettering on the tail panel are a step back in looks imho. Still looks great.

Right, and there is obviously some sort of market for the Callaway's but I don't see it. True, you get an additional 100 horse and a factory warranty... but is the value still there? A slightly used (factory) ZL1 would likely be my cutoff. The 650 is still gobs of power and the price is logical.

I’m sure the market is there in a small form.

I guess the issues for me is the blower & hood. With a 2650 doing so well & the limitation of their blower, if you really want to lean on it I imagine there more than likely will be some impediment there with the hood.

I went the used route as there was no EPD at the time. Now a new one is only a few $K more than I paid for mine, but mine has more options than the examples I’m seeing right now (as of a week or so ago). $10K off MSRP for a used one I didn’t think was that bad with the used market the way it is, but then factor in the extended coverage & the gap diminishes a bit. Food for thought if you are remotely considering it.

Oh really!!!!.
I only contradict because a local GT500 cftp is listed for almost 200 grand.
I know what I paid for my ZLE.
That Callaway is a special car. I don’t particularly like it. But I gotta say it’s a huge bargain compared to the GT500s

What’s another $1500 for a nice carbon fiber hood and just take those letters off the rear end. Then that’s a pretty good start to fixing it up. Might as well add some nice black rims and tint. The list goes on. Yikes.

Let me be the unlikely odd one out in this thread, I like the hood cutout for the supercharger, even though I absolutely detest this arrangement in general.

Tell you why: the OEM hood is already broken up with the gap around the insert, and this Callaway unit continues the same theme on a smaller scale (reminds me a bit of Russian 'matryoshka' dolls), so there is some consistency, plus it doesn't bulge out obnoxiously, its top is almost level with the hood from what I can see. Not bad at all, an interesting design idea coupled with fine execution. The engine bay looks very clean, too.

Definite pass on the giant trunk badge from me.

Nice, like the red, but like others have said... For 6 figures there are many other cars I'd buy first.

I'd take an identical ZL1 with a 2650 Maggie kit in the trunk any day over this car.
