From my research Swaintech provides the best heat protection on the market. Not as nice looking as jethot but it outperforms it. I'm more into performance then looks. Plus I think they look pretty cool.

But once you get the flange facing vertically they slide right up and in without any fighting, beating, hammering, swearing, etc....

The only bolt that is even slight a pain to get started is the front passenger side header bolt and that's only because there is a harness and hoses that are mounted to a bracket right on the corner of the motor. Unbolt the bracket and stuff moves around, it's just tight enough to be annoying. Every other bolt is easy peezy. A 10mm ratchet wrench is perfect to get to all but that front bolt.

I like the sound. With the NPP in tour mode, it still cruises nice and quiet, similar to what it sounded like in sport before. But when you have the valves open and hit the gas you will be waking people up. It's quite a bit louder now which I think is perfect. I can still start it in stealth mode and my wife doesn't even realize what I've done to it...
I'm getting these CSP headers installed soon.
On the top side, did you have to remote the usual: coolant reservoir, dipstick tube etc?
How long did th install take?

Yes, I did remove the reservoir and dipstick tube. You could try and work around the reservoir but for the 3 mins it takes to remove it it's not worth the hassle of leaving it there. As for the dipstick tube, the way it snakes down through the manifold you have to pull it out with the manifold. I fought with putting it back in for about 5 mins, then decided to grab a borescope and put it at the bottom looking at the hole and was able to get the dipstick back in relatively easily being able to see what I was actually doing.

On another note for removing the reservoir. It allows you much better access to add some heat wrap on the wiring harness that runs below it and gives you the needed room to pull that harness back from the headers. I'm sure if I hadn't wrapped/moved that harness it would be melted in half. It's way too close to the headers for comfort initially.

The header install took me around 10 hours to complete laying on my garage floor working by myself. With help and a lift it would go much quicker.
