you could always cut the tips of and install carbon tips later and still be cheaper then a new system.

True, i dont think borla sells tip separately and also it gotta involves welding... probably not worth it

If you're still on the fence, may want to see how cheap you can get a new CF tip system for from DynoSteve with RDP. He is on this forum, and pretty sure his prices are the best.

Just checked out his store on the axle back I want. Normal price of $1677.04, On Sale Today for $1760.99.

After reading a lot and watching some videos, I have decided that the Borla S Type NPP Axel back is what I will be getting. Not cheap though

I feel the same way. I don’t want to increase the sound at all. I bought a resonated x-pipe hopefully it changes things.

Which one did you buy? I was looking into that too but can’t seem to find one to fit the stock 2.75” exhaust.

I 100% agree with you. I think I want to do the same with CF tips. Before I pull the trigger I want to hear the set up in person. I like the s type compared to everything else I’ve heard but everything was through video and ear phones. There just doesn’t seem to be a good substitute for in person. Hopefully I’ll be able to do it this spring summer when things start to open up.

I just got my borla s type with npp and the black ceramic tips installed today.
looks great sounds a little louder than stock. I might look at a mid pipe and secondary cat deletes next to increase the volume.

I have 3” all the way back. I used this thread to figure out what to do. I think they sell one that’s 2.75.
