For reference I have fill bolt ons, cam, ported SC, and meth. Car makes 780whp but I won’t be doing back to back pulls even with the meth. Normally let the car cool about 30min between 1/4 mile runs. If I was tracking the car I would not have so much pulley to increase boost. Maybe just a 2.3 and that’s it.

Now if you want to make 800+ the Mag 2650 seems to be the favorite way to go.

I think regardless of what you decided with cam and full bolt ons with 2650 you are maxed on fuel to about 850whp without doing very expensive fuel upgrades.

At any rate this car is light years better than the 13 ZL1. It’s also about 200lbs lighter.
This is not targeted at you specifically, it is a general statement drawn from hundreds of LT4 builds we have completed.

Doing anything to a stock blower, i.e. spinning it faster, porting, etc. is a waste of money, time and effort for a glory number on the dyno that can't be repeated out in the real world.

If you could measure the power output from the starting line to the finish line you would better understand what I am talking about.

Adding a cam to the stock blower further runs it out of air even earlier.

Adding Meth is a last resort after all other options have been exhausted, plus it introduces another baby sitting job and potential failure point.

The more you think about it if you want more power than the stock 1.7 puts out then move to a larger supercharger. IMO

The heartbeat 2300, the Whipple 2.9 and the TVS 2650 in that order are all good options targeting your power goals.

Then you can sell your Stock Supercharger to a LT1 guy whos looking for a nice 150 RWHP upgrade and recover some of the money spent on the new charger.

Ted.

The supercharger has to come off and you have to buy all new supercharger bolts, and lid bolts as they are one time use.

Are you sure the blower bolts are one time use? I can't imagine this is the case, but I could certainly be wrong, this car is covered up with TTY bolts.

Yes they supposedly are TTY bolts but Elite and other catch can companies reused them after installing the can. Maybe Ted J will chime in on this!

How much will a cam hurt the stock supercharger performance ?
Will it not pull as much up top ? 6200 vs 5800 RPM ?

Cams don't hurt the performance.

A cam increases air across the cylinder head making the blower run out of air earlier.

The best analogy I can come up with is like you are jogging down hill
