You guys don’t know annoying seatbelt dingers until you’ve been in a newer Highlander.

The wife’s dings for like 3 minutes straight. Then stops, for a minute, then starts dinging for another 3 minutes, over & over.... & over.

Yeah I know Toyota have been annoying for at least 15 years. I drove an FJ when they first came out and the salesman needed me to drive down the lot to get the temp tag. The seatbelt chime went crazy after like 10 feet.

Those damn Toyota’s won’t shut up for a second... does your wife’s chime progressively ding faster the longer you don’t buckle up?

Isn't there a setting that allows you to disable the chimes? At least I saw something about it when looking through the menu.

Not sure about the 1SS but in the 2SS you can turn them down but you can’t eliminate them.

He has a 1SS

Doesn’t turn down the seatbelt ones. I’ve tried.
