The performance is awesome and addicting (especially with rev match engaged), but what I’m most impressed with is how well built it is. This ain’t your f-body Camaro. It’s built like a tank and feels robust, solid, and sturdy. Like you could drive it through a brick wall without a scratch.

I couldn't agree more with you guys! I find myself making excuses to go out and drive anywhere. I found this great curvy road not to far from me and i was in love! The car just handles sooooooo amazing! Also it is so beautiful, every time i park, i find myself looking back and just smiling (as well as smiling when i start her up).
(P.S. I love taking pics of this baby) |

I couldn't agree more... This car was a "fun purchase", it will eventually be my "Daily Driver" but for the next year or 3 it is going to be my Baby... So much fun to drive and a hell of a lot of fun to work on! I've been a "Car Guy" my whole life but always had other obligations in my way to prevent me from buying something "non-practical"... Well, I've finally gotten to a place to treat myself (and not have that damn "Catholic Guilt!") so I went out last November and ordered my dream car (could have bought a C8 Corvette but I LOVE the Muscle Car look of the Camaro SS WAAAAAY better!)
Love driving it, Love tinkering on it... What a GREAT machine!!!

I considered a ZL1 (as I REALLY loved the look of the hood and front end), but then I realized I can get 4.0 seconds of fun out of the SS, but only 3.5 seconds of fun out of the ZL1 (for $18k more)... So I went with the SS...

I couldn't agree more! Starting it, driving it, looking at it, just puts a permasmile on my face!!!! Most amazing factory car I have ever driven, fast, powerful, very stable and quite nimble for a car this size, surprisingly so! Just a blast to drive every chance I get! On a side note, those pictures look quite like Long Island, North Fork perhaps?......I am in central Suffolk, born and raised on LI, so lived here over a half century now. See you only have a couple of posts, so welcome to the forum and the Camaro community! Back to gushing over these incredible machines!!!!! |

Or how about a ZL1 1LE! It’s true Fraxum but I have owned both an SS and a ZL1 6 gen and really enjoy my ZL1 more than the 2016 2SS that I had! To each his own I would say but we all agree that our Camaros are special to us forum members.

Thanks for the welcome and you guessed it, I took those while I was checking out the farmers markets on sound ave. I'd love some recommendations for fun roads around here, since I'm relatively new to suffolk. |
