The try y is good and on a auto that might be ok. On m6 bolt on car u get crazy gains with headers, the torque and avg power increase helps get u going through the tall gearing

Here’s mine. Car made the 450 with just a hi-ram and flexfuel on a mustang dyno in 5th gear. Made the 474 after I added the 2” hooker longtubes. Car ran 11.0’s in 2300 DA at 124mph. The 425 was with just the hi-ram before we did the flex fuel tune.

Yeah pretty disappointing. Mind you i was already catless. I gained 23hp/4tq just by going catless, which is probably more beneficial for a SC setup. You add that to the previous increase and going catless with kooks, 103 TB and big gulp (in which there was always a roto-fab on the car) you end up with 57/28 for all that, and still not that impressive considering the $ for the parts, but it does look a little better.

Two identical 2020 ss, both with Cai, ptb, ported intake, one with headers and x pipe and one without. 431 to 445hp. Both on e85 also. Mine is 431 I won't spend the money for 14 more HP. Both at same dyno shop, but different days.

How can I say this without saying I told you so.
The C6 has factory headers 4-2-1 albeit not equal length. Any change to LT ONLY will give you maybe 5-10 HP MAX.....

All that money for the gains posted in this thread doesn't seem worth it for the money. I would be getting it installed at a shop so I need to include install costs.

When my girlfriend PT warranty up on her car we are going to do a set of CA Performance cat deletes. It will save a lot of money compared to headers. Install will be a lot cheaper and I only have $270 in the cat deletes (with all new gaskets and a new clamp to keep exhaust from leaking. We just want to pick up more sound from the NPP. Hopefully we can trick those people at the Emissions testing center to think the secondary cats are the main cats which shouldn't be hard. LoL

For those of us keeping cats, the catted longtubes are a decent gain.

You have to get a tune to make the headers worth it....
