Over time most of us knew that the blade was closing at max TQ.
Let me put this on your plate....

I'm sure the roto fab suffers the same fate as the TB. If the rotofab makes HP and TQ the blade is going to close on us. I guess I'll tune my car 5yrs from now..

From what i can see looking back at the logs its trying to keep my at 14 psi until 5000 rpm. So it may be looking at boost pressure and air flow lbs per min and backing the throttle back to make it what it wants to see. stays at 100% throttle and steady 14 psi. when it hit 14.2 psi it started backing off the throttle got to 14.5 and went down to 13.9 and it held the throttle in that position to hold 14 psi. 5600 rpm it decided to let it go back to 100% got to 16psi right before red line. just saw that looking at one runs data log.
May be unrelated to boost but just saw that while looking over one again a few min ago.

ProjectZL1, thanks a lot; what can I say? great video.

We are more than pleased to see those airflow numbers at WOT. With the right spark and fuel, they should yield more than 30 rwhp but that is still to be proven. We'll continue to investigate that.

We know, that once a new of our TB's is learned, it is producing more power at partial throttle in run-mode closed-loop fuel control. This is easy to verify, we can readily feel it.

When testing WOT, the ECM will jump to power enrichment mode, and we suspect that the ECM hasn't had time to learn the amount of enrichment needed for the extra air. Either that or a tune depending on the ECM logic.

It would help a lot if there was a log of AFR and spark to confirm.

Great stuff as is. I hope we can build upon this thread with more data, and the opinion of tuners and those who tune just for fun.

WHAT IS STOCK SUPPOSED TO BE? I THOUGHT 15 WAS STOCK BOOST. LOOKS LIKE IT IS TRYING TO KEEP IT AROUND 14 TO 15 PSI

Stock boost is around 10 lbs. I see between 10 and 11 with intake and Katech TB. How are you reading boost? Is your stock boost gauge hitting 15?

If you are using HP Tuners then you need to log boost. MAP sensor PSI is not the same.

We need to connect Mike@SolerPerformanceLLC with Ted Jannetty for a high flow shaft TB and tune combo on 93. I would bet it pushes close to 600whp easy on 93, all other things stock.
