Well he talked me into the 9.45in -18% pulley. I went through with the purchase. I am almost ready to send an email back to switch back to the 9.06- 13% pulley. I don't really want to have to add cooling upgrades yet.i wonder how much will be left on the table between the two.
So Dave recommend the 18% pulley but the tuners advised not to? I would take the tuners advice they are right into it.

Lots of shops install 18% pulleys for bolt on builds including RPM/VR which are some of the best two in the game. I say put the 18% on and see how it goes.

Yeah I am gonna stick with the 18% it is already en route. Unfortunately I have to wait till spring to try it out. They already salted the roads here and my car isn't going to see any salted roads.

I wouldn’t get too worked up over the decision. I’d go with the recommendation of the shop installing it and move on. If you find it’s too much pulley later on, a ring a belt swap is pretty easy and cheap to do.

You will be fine. That kick when you hit the peddle is gonna leave one huge grin on yer face. It is not enough to cause overheating, belt, etc. issues. Hard driving on a couple of 2000 mile road trips and my coolant temp rarely broke 186. Enjoy!

I'm looking at the same pulley for my car. Does it utilize the factory belt?
