Reviving an old thread but I have a question for you all.

I have the 2-piece drive on front ramps at 10” height & the 10” rear cribs as well. Curious if any of you use a simians setup. I was helping a friend with his diff fluid change today and we had a helluva time getting the rear high enough to get the wheels on the cribs once we drove the front up.

Think I’ll be returning the rear cribs for the adjustable 2-piece cribs, but any advice appreciated

Use a long 2x12 under the jack. This is what i'm going to do when I finally get around to changing the fluids. I was about an inch too low so one 2x should get me up high enough to get under the wheels with my 10" cribs. May even have to use jack stands so the car is not so catawampus on one side while jacking the other.

I wanted to get those cribs for the rear wheels when I bought my race ramps last year. I just couldn’t get myself to do it.

Jacking the car that high one side at a time in the rear is scary. I opted for the Quickjack Instead.

I dont have the 12 race ramp cribs but I do have the 67XT race ramps. I will have to figure out some sort of extension or prelift to drive on to use them. With the ZL1 the front splitter does indeed scrape. Too much for me to drive up and on. I might break down and buy the race ramp xtenders. It just use some wood to drive on first

The extenders work for my car so you’ll be fine with those if the wooden approach doesn’t work out.
