The first five years I owned my car I barely used it but then came to appreciate it. Haven't turned it off since.

My last car was a Corvette and I loved the HUD so much that it is one of two features a car must have for me. The other is Ventilated seats. My wife's car is a Honda Accord Touring which of course has both HUD and Ventilated seats. I just wish Camaro had also put the turn signals in the HUD like my Corvette had.

I like it and use it regularly in my driving. However it had nothing to do with the car purchase.

I've had HUD on other cars and the Camaro version is one the best I've seen though.

The module was made by aerospace engineering firm Rockwell adapted from their fighter jet technology for automotive use.
This sounds about right. I had a 1992 Bonneville SSE that had a HUD, and from that point on I've wondered why all cars don't have one. In the Camaro (and my last BMW) it's been great for knowing my speed at the track.

Love it, especially the shift lights. Nice to have on track.

It is actually available on GM trucks now too. For the 2019/2020 Silverado, you can get it in a High Country or LTZ by adding the technology package.

Maybe if they got rid of the instrument cluster and laid it out in the HUD format, I'd dig it more.

Definitely thinking it’s a cool option to have, but honestly I rarely find myself using it.

I like it on my 2ss. I bought an aftermarket one for my truck for about $14. I.didnt like it sitting onto of the dash and got bored of it.

Due to my body position and hand placement on the wheel I can’t see most of the gauges so I’m always using the HUD and people are always impressed with it.

I’m sure it’s nice to have. But necessary? Nope.

I wish it could be tilted, just seems a little misaligned, Left is low and right is high, just bugs me. Does anyone else think their isn't aligned correctly?

I like it, and it is also hard switching cars when I use a car without HUD.
