This post seems to have been dropped, does anyone know why? My opinion, the tail of the 6th gen ZL1 got forgotten. I think Gary H must have figured out something from all the photos I have seen of his car. But I could be wrong! Thanks!

LOL, having seen a lot of so called 'ZL1' compatible diffusers, the issue will always be the tabs around the side that aren't there on SS.

So 'yes it'll fit but with minor body mods' doesn't cut it for me and getting the holes properly filled and painted I don't consider 'minor'.

So I found two products:
Maxton Design side extenders which are shaped and 3D rather than just a precut flat pieces.
And the second was a little more unexpected - trawling ebay, I came across "5 fin ABS universal rear diffuser". Measured up the gap (the curved section between the tailpipes) and couldn't believe it was an exact fit. And best of all it was £10!

I think the results speak for themselves - not overly aggressive, but just adds enough

The ZL1 Add-Ons diffuser is highly functional, and looks like it can be installed easily prior to a track day.

If you're getting one to actually improve aero like they were designed for, this seems like the one to get and only $180!

Other than that, I prefer the way my ZLE looks stock.

Great job with your car GARY H! I guess it looks like its a custom fit, big dollars for a cover, or bolt on something that although it may work, does not look right. Thanks for your time!

Agreed, most of the ones I see are hideous IMO and overly expensive/non functional. To each their own, I don't see the point.
