I have plugged hundreds of tires, the Highway Patrol would only let me plug their tires, never had a failure and down to a bald tire. Wouldn't use it for racing.

A lot of plugs and a lot of miles. No failures.

So I did a temp plug on my Porsche 295-30-20 and it has a slow leak. So I took it to the tire store for a replacement plug and patch and they wouldn’t touch it.
So not sure if I can try another shop or if I need to try removing and re-doing the plug somehow. Anybody done that ?! |
