The factory oil cooler is junk and its not really a "Cooler" as it is a Heat exchanger for allowing the engine oil to warm up the coolant in cooler climates. It offers very little for surface area to remove sufficient heat from the oil and I will be removing mine within the next thirty days. I bought the CSF Porsche RSR oil cooler and will mount it up front by removing the factory heat exchanger and capping the coolant lines. |
