The part where the scratches are would not be touched by my foot or my shoes. It's the metal plate that is recessed into the pedal cover. And my other question and concern is that the part appears to be used. And I did not pay for a used part, so I was wondering if this was common to the manufacturing process or if the part truly was used. Does that make it easier for you to understand buddy??? |

Mine also looked a little worn when I opened the box. The accelerator pedal was shiny and flawless in contrast.
It was nowhere as bad as yours, however, and looked quite okay after some TLC, so I never thought twice about it after installation.
