Greetings all. I am about to place an order for a 2020 ZL1 with the 10spd. I have been trolling unregistered for a while and very much like the discussions and the tone of the discussions on this Board.

I have a Focus RS and it is a wonderful car. It does feel like it takes a little while to build boost, so keeping the RPM's up is critical, but it is a hoot to drive and in some respects, more fun that the GT350R. Neither car has what I would call blistering acceleration, though my general frame of reference is sport bikes.

The GT350R (I owned a 2018 regular GT350 and it was the same) is definitely a beat down as a daily driver. In normal mode, it is still tough. The RS is a much better riding daily driver and is still a blast to flog especially given the AWD. The RS is a very livable car as a daily driver and still fun to flog.

My interest 1st in a Camaro started a few months ago with a suprise Hertz upgrade to a V8 SS for a weekend. Not a convertible. I was very impressed with it.

Yes, I'll probably get a GT500 but after the dealership stupidity settles down. Thanks for allowing me into this great forum and I'll keep you posted progress of the 2020. I have not owned a GM product since the mid-2000's after a string of bad experiences with GM trucks.

If you were impressed with a regular SS, you'll be blown away by the ZL1.
