Thanks, but it truly is the first thing I thought of when driving it. I always feel like I am the one holding it back.

Wow I knew the Hellcats were fast but thought it was closer competition with the ZL1 because of how heavy they are.

Just keep treeing him if you can and make him play catch up. Hopefully you can get the hole shot and make him use the power to catch you vs. him getting the jump and using the power to gap you.

My best time all stock with nannies on is 11.52 at 127, 90 degrees at Beach Bend Ky. Any suggestions on quick mods or I possibly can borrow some drag radials from a friend but never having used them, what could I expect with them foot braking the car to get the boost up? Any suggestions would be helpful. For whatever reason the video from the first race will not upload.

I was at Atco last Friday a black A10 ZL1 was running 10.0s with:

Tires
Bigger TB
Ported stock SC
Small pulley
Meth
E45
Voltage booster
LTs
tune

Pretty mild build to be that fast and close to being as fast as you can go without a cage. Why do people go bigger? But stock hellcats are faster than ZL1s.

Hellcats have been out for years now, so I have seen plenty of them run the 1/4 mile. Have never seen a Hellcat on street tires that runs as quick as a stock A10 ZL1 on the dragstrip here.

I honestly think the only thing holding the ZL1 back is torque management. Though I've gotten a 1.66 60' on the stock tires, I wasn't able to do it with full throttle application at launch. I'm sure these cars would run in the 10'8s or quicker on tire, in good air, with just the TM being removed.

That is because street tires are not enough for a Hellcat when on the track. It needs DRs. The ZL1 however can run a great quarter mile on street tires. However DRs don't do too much for it. So on streets the ZL1 will have the advantage. On DRs the Hellcat will have the advantage.

There are multiple documented stock Zl1's on stock tires that have run high 10's. Granted, I think these guys are professional drivers , but one is on this forum. Both have slips to prove it. One has a video ... Just saying, it's possible.
