I did mine at 1500 (same ELSD as the ZL1) and there was enough metal from break-in on the magnet to make it seem worthwhile.

Duluth in Minnesota or Georgia?

Congrats on the switch, i made the same move some time ago and love this car. You will likely not find many common issues with this car compared to the 350. I was paranoid after that car too, and there have been a few oil pumps lost over here...but not 3-4 motors down per week and splitters hanging off everywhere
