I know I give myself shots every two weeks. It helps out in taking curves faster....

She was never a car person till after we got married so its kinda cool to have her bring that up.
This is what my ZL1 does to my girlfriend...it puts a smile on all women's faces. See what it does to your girlfriend/wife.

You have a regular ZL1, not a 1LE. I test drove a ZL1-1LE and the ride quality sucks. I'd probably be over it too after awhile. It's a track car.

Disagree - 13,000 to date! Moral of story - don't buy garage queens.

I've notice no difference in ride with different tires. I have two sets of OE wheels. One with PS4s.

Yes, I definitely figured that. I did say 59 for starters too, but definitely up for debate.

LOL... a track car used on the track is definitely not considered a garage queen in my book. Road conditions where you live makes a huge difference whether this is a daily or not. Regular ZL1 doesn't matter.

My wife said "so this is the terrible ride that everyone is complaining about? Do they not know it's a performance car?" Neither one of us think its bad But I'm only 43 and she's 41. It rides only slightly harsher then my z06 in sport mode which is where I run it on the street and slightly better then my z06 in track mode. It rides better than my daily which is a 2500 duramax so its a treat to drive for me and the handling is just a bit better than my daily lol

There are few things I'd rather do than go for a spin in my ZL1 1LE. Maybe it makes a difference where you live, I'm 5 minutes from canyons and roads like Mullholland Dr. in LA. Besides the incredible turns, the views up there are great. I personally dont understand the dislike of the 1LE's firm suspension, it's the best part of the experience. I bought this car to have the closest thing I could afford to a big HP race car, and this delivers. I've been driving mine to work occasionally, and it makes my commute fun again. I drive it every chance I get, and only stop to keep the miles in check.

Agree with every point here. When i test drove, i was expecting the ride to be back breaking. It was definitely very focused and stiffer than my mrc 2ss trade in. But no where near what had been described. Again, i think ride quality is too subjective person to person.

That said, my wife has hit her head twice while we were going over uneven payment when blazing down mullholand on a spirited drive. Lol. And she is only 5'2". She is a trooper though and actually prefers the recaros in the zle vs the 2ss.

I actually love the ride because it inspires so much confidence, no matter where or how you are driving. It actually allows me to identify crappy roads more easily now. Its not the suspension...its the road thats the issue! Lol.

Personally, I'd rank our roadways as some of worst in the country. I never really had an issue with the ride or any aspect of the car.
When I sell this, I may consider updating our small bucket truck, something in the 42' range...bulletproof vest is on!
