a dyno tune will give you more then any mods will. The A8 is not tuned correctly form the factory. It will make a big difference.

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1

Ported IM/TB combo from Pray Performance that will give you the most gain price related...

E85 + tune would be the best BUT is more than $700
Tune only wont give you any OK gains....
Drag pack is over $700

I'd get the Manifold and TB... this doesn't need immediate tune and will provide notable gains over any other mod in its price range....

Save that $700.00 and more and upgrade to a ZL1! That’s what I did and I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to get a ZL1!

he has an auto. the tune alone would be the best thing he could do for $700

Compared to buying the whole suite, you can pay a local shop to flash 5-10 times for you on your own cable before you catch up to the cost of the standard suite. If you're not heavy into changing things up all the time, you're unlikely to reflash that many times.
That does not make sense. If he buys his own MPVI2 and 2 credits then why couldn't he flash his own car as many times as he wants? 400 bucks for hpt, 225 if he wants the Wildhammer sensor, using the info on enabling flex sensor which was posted on this forum, can gain power. I know this from experience (partial flex tune gains). Obviously a full professional tune including the transmission would be better, but bumps above the stated budget.
