In the 60s and 70s dual static eliminator straps were popular accessories. Most added for coolness though the function was to make the car body anti static to repel dust. The would fasten to the underside of the back bumper or tail end of the frame of the car. 1 on each side. Long rubber strips that would drag the ground. Looked good on cars like a 64 Galaxie or other cars with a lowered rear end.

1. Paint protection film for long-term prevention of scratches and swirls.
2. Durable Hydrophobic coating on top of the PPF (most are also dustophobic) so stuff doesn't stick.
3. Hose rinse, california duster, or 500gsm plush MF towel with a quick detailer or paint sealant diluted into distilled water. Pick your pony. It doesn't really matter at this point.

Not cheap but it sure is easy and the black will look fantastic for years.
