I wonder if in 50 years will the rarest camaro be the 2019 one year only front end.
If the highly desired new front end comes in 2020 and many of the 19 owners elect to change their front end to the 2020 versions.

Will Barrett-Jackson or some other auction be talking about the "rare as hens teeth all original 2019 camaro" trading for way above realistic prices? Due to the one year only much hated grille from way back in 2019.

Seems CT6 wouldn't have 2020 model as plant shifting. GM hasn't found new plant for CT6.

"CAMCON"?

The convertible guys & gals should section off a part of the next Camaro Fest and call it CAMCON, like Comic Con except you come dressed up like a character from your favorite car show/movie instead of a super hero or Sith Lord.

Well, they couldn't sell the required # of Plymouth Superbirds and Dodge Daytonas required to be made for the street to satisfy Nascar rules when they 1st came out. Some sat on lots for years and stories of some Superbirds being converted back to Roadrunners are told ( would like to see proof and that car at Barrett Jackson!). Rare doesn't always mean big $. It often means ugly and very poor sales then and no interest decades later. I wonder how many 19 SS Camaros have been produced and sold to date vs. 2018 models. Anyone see an AMC Spirit based AMX bringing big $ lately? How about one of those 80's Dodge Chargers made in Japan(?). A friend bought a new 74 Mach 1 Mustang II with a 4 cylinder (later traded at a loss for a 75 new Camaro Type LT, for Luxury Touring - he thought it had a LT 1 engine since the Z28 was dead). He put headers, a 3:73 Z rearend and other Mods and I later stomped him thru the quarter in my bone stock 75 Camaro RS - also a rare mid-year model intro. The list goes on.

I have only seen one 19 Camaro on the street, (an RS vert) and that was on a trip to Memphis from my NE MS home. Several 16 - 18's always spotted on I-22 along with Gen 5's. Several 16 - 18's now in my hometown area.

wake me when they break out the 2016-18 front and rear end molds and put the car back the way it should be.

The 2019 Camaro: Chevrolet's answer to New Coke.

If you're expecting anything new on the Camaro for 2020, be prepared to be disappointed.

If anyone is looking for more than a declared 5hp increase, then I agree. The only things they have left to get any sales for 6th gen are items that require little in the tooling or assembly change costs.

- SEMA bumper standard (obvious reasons are obvious)
- 10L90 option on ZL1 1LE and the SS 1LE (ZLE announced mid-2019 because there are race teams moving to it on the GT4.R program)

The SS 1LE should offer the 10L90 as the assembly layout uses the ZL1 driveline and undermounts. The 10L80 would be a poor choice for a track model transmission. The automatic 1LE SS without AFM or solenoid pulsing is the only thing that will keep me in the Camaro family at this point. GM ****ed up trying to mask cylinder deactivation feels and now Silverado is losing to Ram and Camaro is losing to Challenger. Congrats GM, you're going to be 3rd-4th place in your home market very soon. And moving Buick to China isn't going to save you.

If you have investments tied to GM, you should only be playing them short. Longs on GM will bite back before 2H'20.
