![]() To answer your location question - I would avoid mounting cutouts before the O2 sensors. If you do - you are asking for CELs and potential issues with the engine running right on a factory tune FWIW - I really like the factory NPP. Its loud enough for me for when I want it loud and no drone.

As for the factory NPP, it sounds awesome. I have no doubt about that. That’s why I was hoping to keep its factory sound on stealth mode. This will alleviate that issue, and give me the opportunity to keep my factory sound, with the option to be louder on the hot summer days. |

Get rid of all the noise reduction before the NPP system.
Get cat-less long tube headers. If that's not enough, then look to a cam. Another way would be find an aftermarket muffler that uses the NPP valves. In stealth it will probably be louder than stock, and track mode the same thing.
