I guess I’m in the minority with smokinzx too! I really like my 6 gen as compared to the 2 3rd gens, 1 4th gen and 1 5th gen I owned over the last 36 years. IMO it really doesn’t look like the 5th gen to me and never will. And I don’t want the new 7 gen to have a hatchback either.

For the complaints about the exotic-car visibility, I have designed the perfect car for you:

i imagine, per usual, gm will find a way to make it fail. imho the camaros are so far from home it’s not funny. the v8 cars are WAY over priced and offer very little over the ability to transport us around. i wouldn’t be surprised to never see a 7th gen car. gm is great at building performance cars and economic cars, alike. they are terrible at finding middle ground.

I should have added it has two side view mirrors on each side, one is convex to offset all the idiots that don't know how to set side mirrors.

Gotta lobby for my favorite 7thGen look....It must be a radical, revolutionary design...This 6thGen evolving from the 5thGen retro-look or whatever is played out....Massage this guy up with some Camaro bits, and I say it's a winner-winner, chicken dinner...lol

Who the heck wants a LT series 350 engine with only 370hp? I have zero desire or want for a smaller engine that produces as much power as most modern V6 engines produce now. My wifes 2016 Audi SQ5 has a supercharged 3.0 V6 and came with 355hp stock, now it has 450hp or more.

You are proposing a 5.7 liter engine that makes 370hp when the V6 can already do that, the fuel economy wont be any better than the current LT engine and you wont be saving any weight from the engine system at all.

Dont even get me on the live rear axle thought, what is this the 80's thru 2000's? Who wants a new model that will handle worse than the existing model? Live rear axle is a dead technology in a performance vehicle, end of discussion.

Next I have zero desire for a cloth only interior nor no radio with only Android Auto or Apple Car play.

If they build the car like this it will be the end of the line for the Camaro platform for sure. Sure the Camaro could lose some weight, it is hard to do with the safety requirements. It could also use more room in the rear passenger compartment, but that isnt a make it or break it deal for me. The next generation will need to be lighter, handle better, have a better build quality and materials and will need to be more powerful while also getting the same or better gas mileage.

The problem I saw when shopping for a Camaro was at a dealer level. Ford dealers load the lots with Mustangs, 300A and 301A GT Mustangs, plenty of Performance Pack cars. So a 301A GT with PP1 is on par with a base 1SS, in terms of options and price. Not so many 401A or high options cars, equivalent to the 2SS trim. Now I would go look at a Chevrolet dealer, not a lot of Camaros to choose from, very few manuals, and most the cars are loaded out 2SS cars. Ford dealers make buying a Mustang easier because they load the lots with more of them and the wider spectrum.

the Camaro of tomorrow will morph into a 2 seater replacement for the Vette when it changes to a Mid engine supercar.

I too, prefer the 6th Gen over the 5th Gen (boxy and too heavy). If you follow Carmaros at all, it is easy to tell them apart. Yes to the lower door height and more room for rear passengers. Absolutely, no to a hatchback which did nothing to save the 4th Gen (will admit that it got very long in the tooth). Pattern it more like Gen 2, especially in width. Yes to entry level V8 option. JMO.
