I also way back when the 6th gen first came out had CA front cat deletes. the low speed drivability was not as bad as headers, but there was a strange exhaust resonance at 1200 RPM or so, so I think 6th gear was more usable but not great say 62 MPH or so. I lived with no cats for 2 years, the car is SO much better of a street car with cats. I would never go back. I had always intended installing the high flow cats or cutting and welding back in the stock back two cats. Autos don't see to have any issue at all. .it is the 608 that has mufflers in it BTW. https://www.jegs.com/InstallationIns.../157-60608.pdf called a "touring resonator"

Ah that's too bad. I wonder why. Do you know of any other alternatives?

I am going with the Stainless Works axle back and AFM and NPP for $1700 shipped. I wanted to keep both functions of the exhaust, but could not justify spending any more than that.
I hope the drone is not as bad as people say, but I have heard its not bad at all on the A8 for some reason. |

probably the AFM. Also depends on the street speed, most county roads here are 65 MPH, so with no cats I had to get to 67 MPH to use 6th gear, as soon as I dropped below that I had to use 5th... Probably people on an auto don't even notice, but on a manual you have to shift. The AFM must also be effective too. I lived with it for 2 years, but with cats it is near stock in drivability. I could have put small bullets in my original Kooks cat delete pipes. But plan to put cutouts in them now that the cats have solved all drivability issues and cutouts is going to let the street scene the Oldman is all business....
I had stainless steel works on my Challenger. Nice stuff.

I'm doing stainless works... 1 7/8 into their 3" x pipe with cats this system ties into stock npp...
we will see but I think this might be the best solution for drone / power / driveability |

dunno, what the minimum MPH I can do in each gear; now as most of my driving is WOT, hence the need for the 4th set of rear tires in 18,000 miles. that said, what I posted is about what I do now with LT, cats and factory cat back. bout 52ish in 6th...
For sure because I have it memorized, with LT no cats, 6th can't be used till 67 MPH.

I’m going full ARH as I not only want the louder car but am looking to drop as much weight as possible. Best guess on info from ARH is you’d drop 40lbs+ off the car by doing the full system. Comes at a cost but I’m only doing exhaust once
