As for the fuel trims saving your warranty, that is pretty comical. You realize the manufacturer would rather not pay your warranty claim right? So you expect the dealer (manufacturers representatives) to send your ecu to the manufacturer so that they can decide to cover your car that is modified? That's good stuff!
Secondary Cat failed so I fixed it with my aftermarket secondary Cat delete. it's more of a noise mod then go fast mod btw.

My car was at the dealer for over 30 days, they had to get GM mothership approval before replacing anything past diag.

So yeah if I have any issues I'll tell the dealer to send the ECU data to GM they have to gain their approval any how, Im really not worried about it.

How many miles did you have, and what was the failure?

How Can I Make My Car Loud Without Voiding My Warranty?

People get defensive quick...opening yourself up to warranty issues and voiding your warranty are damn near the same thing. Teasing nuances doesn’t change that.

Throw a GM intake on your car and there are no warranty issues in anyway whatsoever.

Do cutouts and there’s no issue and your car is louder.

There are options to make it louder that don’t require ever needing to wonder about the status of your various warranties.

If you don’t care about the warranty and can pay to play then yeah; longtube, intake, exhaust and tune. Otherwise find options that work for your unique situation.
