What set up/sizes did you go with.
I've been looking at factory SS take offs just for ease of fitment.

I guess maybe I should switch to the 11th? What group is at SP on that date? Three 1LEs on the same track would be cool.

I noticed the slipperiness of the stock tires on the way to work last week. I am worried, not about the track tire temps, but leaving early in the morning and hitting the highway if it is 20 degrees. I'd hate to "chunk" the tire somehow and then have it self-destruct at the track.
Myself and JD are currently signed up with the WDCR event (on Jefferson) on the 11th but it's capped at 30 people and there's 20 something people wait-listed right now so I doubt you would get in :( NASA Mid-Atlantic is Running Summit Main that weekend as well if you want to hit that one up.

Sorry to hear about the damage too, Boost. Hopefully its something they can fix easily.

Uncle Sam, I'm afraid a switch to the 11th would be impossible. We are running with SCCA's Helmets off to Heroes event for veterans. The event had 30 slots and all 30 were filled the day registration opened back on 24 Sep.

I'm in the market right now for winter rims (19)
What kind of ET will clear the brakes with 9.5 wide rims ? Will et35 do it or do I need to go ET20 or less ?

At least you don't have to put the winter tires on like here in Michigan haha.

I just received a package today from California Car Cover - a "Dustop" custom cover for my 1LE. It will go into hibernation around Thanksgiving in my sister-in-law's garage and will stay there until the end of March 2019.

I put the winter tires and wheels back on about 3 weeks ago. I could have held off until at least today. The car way-overpowers the blizzaks, but at least I can drive them in the winter.

Yesterday it was 48° and rainy.
Stock Goodyears completely worthless.
Got wheel spin just letting out the clutch, normal driving rear end got loose shifting into third, and not normal hard driving, just cruising.
Had to brake due to moron driving through stop sign, tires slid and ABS freaked out.

This was with my normal drive mode settings. In earlier rain storms I used PTM wet and the car was a tank, though it was warmer then.

Tried out the new California Car Cover today. Perfect fit. I'm pleased with the quality of these covers. Today was just a trial fit. There's still almost a month left of plus 40 degree temperatures, so I'll wait until Thanksgiving before storing it for the season.

I am sorry to hear that boost creep. I was sitting at a stop sign and a old woman turned right in front of a guy and he swerved right into me and totaled my car with only 1700 miles on it. So I feel your pain. I am now on my second 2018 2ss 1LE. I switched colors so hopefully this color is better to me.

Thanks man.
Good luck with the new color.

I kind of wish mine was totaled, because now I'm paying for a wrecked car.

I'll start my own thread when I can stomach to look at the car again, body shop nightmare even before an estimate.

Put on my winter tires this morning.

The 18 inch wheels that I have my winter tires on are noticeably quicker to overcome inertia from a stop, feel quicker in everyday driving. On the other hand, went into a corner and had about 3/4s of the grip without the OEM tires, those Goodyears are a great tire (except in winter ).

Hope Summit is warm enough tomorrow!
