I did Eibach and the mechanical platform is way more level at VIR than the stock springs. Very happy I had them switched although I wish the rear was about .5” lower.

Lowering springs are great for looks, but I am the type where performance/handling gains trump looks.

MRC is calibrated for a certain roll center and spring rates and since they have software that changes on the fly, the algorithm is programmed for that.

There are multiple reports on the forum from members who have done this and seen the rear-end get upset on track.
Fanatic above and myself have used Eibach lowering springs with great success and contend that our cars are superior on track compared to a ZL1 with stock springs. Roll center, spring rate, & algorithms mean very little in practical experience (with respect to this topic). In theory, your assumption seems correct; however, in practice the MRC shocks respond equally well with all of those variables changed. So, if you want looks and performance, go with Eibach or likely any of the others and be confident the switch was a worthy one.

Apparently Moreno camber plates give the option of lowering the front of the car by 1/2"

I take it you used them?
If so, how much did it lower your car by?
YYZ says it drops the 1LE by 1 inch, but I'm not sure if that would be the same for a ZL1 since they have different springs.
I've contacted them and am waiting to find out.

Another option is Down Sus RS-R lowering springs, their spring rates are only a little higher than stock (about 5% to 10% more) and they say their springs lower the camaro 1" to 1.2" but they don't specify if that's the SS, 1LE or ZL1. Again I'm waiting to find out from them.

If you can find them, Swift makes really good springs as well.

That's good to know, makes me feel more confident about switching springs.
I'd go with Eibach except I've heard too many guys with 2018 ZL1's say it hardly lowered the car.

Expensive at $475!
Also says it will lower a Camaro by 20mm (about 3/4" to 7/8") but doesn't specify which model of Camaro or what spring rate the springs are

not true...my car is a '17 and it sits perfectly now. I would not want it any lower. Fanatic's car is an '18 and his car is slightly higher in the rear for unknown reasons.
